Sticking to your resolutions...
Most of us in the New Year's spirit make a resolution, or sometimes 2 or 3, and wonder after some time how we will stick to it. Not to worry! There are some adjustments you can make if you are feeling overwhelmed by your goal, or goals, for 2019. Tip to help: take your larger, big picture goal and break it into smaller, more attainable goals. Attempting to reach a large goal within the first 3 weeks of the year would be overwhelming for most. Start with a few small goals and slowly work towards that bigger, overall picture goal. By doing this, you are helping yourself take little steps towards the goal without feeling the pressure and anxiety that most feel when we take on too much at one time. Using this can also be applied to other goals or situations, so feel free to apply this technique in other areas of your life as well! Happy New Year to all and let's make the most of 2019!
