Starting Therapy

Beginning therapy can be a task that can bring about anxiety and other complex emotions. Most people have some fear or assumptions about therapy that can cause some of these emotions to occur. There are some things you can do to help quell your emotions. One good thing to keep in mind is that your perception of therapy may be different from what actually happens in the office, especially if you have never experienced being in therapy before. Most therapists are helpers by nature, which means that we take the time to answer any questions you may have and try our best to help you feel comfortable.
